What I did, was accept all of those little quirks and awkwardness that usually comes with being tall. From fellow tall females, they always told me to never hunch my shoulders, walk straight up, hold my chin up and never look down because it appears as if you’re sure of where you’re going no matter what.
Your boyfriend likes you and that height because you’re taller than him either way, haha. I get hit on by short guys more than any and they tend to not give a damn about the great height difference (if anything it turns them on, gives them a challenge…well…the guys I attract anyway) so all I can really tell you to do is embrace your height and feel comfortable with being yourself. Accept it and the confidence will speak for itself :)
And because of that, the majority of friends always end up telling me, “You don’t seem so tall once I get to know you. I just get used to it.”
Same will go for your boyfriend.
And when yaw are sitting down, or what have you, it really isn’t that much of an issue ;)

I like it.

If you had a specific experience, a suggestion, a question, or even just wanna talk about height, being tall, etc.
Haha, It’s fine.
M’dear, though, if you’re only fourteen, and 5’9…and still have more growing to do…you are very tall.
But that’s a good thing. It’s a beautiful thing really. Embrace your height. Don’t ever feel like you have to appear a little shorter at all because you automatically stand out amongst other people.
My best friend is four foot nine and a half, and I like to pick on her for being so short, and she's just like, "I better be five feet next year when I get my permit" lolol
Oh, how we love short people~
I think it is. Have people ever told you, “You’re tall.” before?
If so, that’s enough to let you know that…you’re pretty tall. Or just above average.
I’m assuming you’re a teenage girl and the average height for female adults is 5’4. If you get a check up from a doctor they usually tell you whether or not your body is above the average height percentile, or weight, or what have you for your age. I’m no doctor but hey (shrugs)
