Sure it's awesome being tall but there's some problems that we have to deal with time and time again.

its-delovely said: you know how short people have the expression "I'm not short I'm fun size"? here's one for tall people: "I'm not tall, I'm vertically gifted"
it makes me feel better about my height
seventored said: I'm a 6' girl. I recently heard this and LOVE it: "You're so tall, do you play basketball?" "You're so short, do you play mini golf?"

That’s wrong…

We love all heights here on tall-ppl-problems blog.
And we also make fun of each other’s heights as well.
Anonymous said: For the Disney thing.. 5'6" is the average height women, just about. You know how disney is ocd about detail. They want all the separate people who play a single princess during their shift to have the same height, so the kids do notice. Disney wants to "keep the illusion" i believe they call it. But generally, i fricken sucks for the tall people. All we can ever be is a tall Tigger behind a mask T_T
or a tall Goofy…with a mask as well.
I’m still shocked about it though…
Anonymous said: This is going to sound cheesy and childish, but for the longest time I've wanted to be a face character at Disneyland... but the max height is 5'6" and I'm 5'10". It's so disappointing D':
What? SERIOUSLY?
I didn’t even know…that…this—wow.
No words can express my disappointment. I feel for you :(
Tall people love and want to be apart of Disney too…

I get plenty of them, and I can’t post them all publicly but please do know that every, single, one of them puts a smile on my face, I want to do a tall-persons’ victory jig, and I truly do appreciate them. I do.
You all make this blog the way it is. It unites tall people of tumblr together (and growing), and let’s others know that we do have our problems and annoyances just like everyone else. It reminds us to accept and embrace our heights and that it’s okay to laugh at these problems we face on a daily basis. So thank you fellow tall followers. Thank you.
rippedfuel said: Oh wow I cant believe this blog exists. It makes me incredibly happy. I am 5'10" and female, so you can imagine I've copped a lot for my height over the years. Fortunately I've never been one to get self conscious of it and rather embraced my amazon woman status a long time ago. Its nice to know there are others who go through the same frustrations that I do though. :)
“Fortunately I’ve never been one to get self conscious of it and rather embraced my amazon woman status a long time ago.”
I love this line. I do.

Or hitting hanging lamps, tvs, etc.
Good to hear that you love being tall! :)
Embrace le heights~
Anonymous said: this is really assuring. i am short(5'2) and i want to be tall so much. then i see the problems of tall people. i guess no one can be perfect. so let's try embracing these imperfections! <3
One of the reasons why I made this blog: I want people to know that tall people do NOT have it easy ALL of the time. We have problems too.
So yes, anon. You’ve got it right :)
We have to embrace them.
Anonymous said: To the girl that wants to model, you only need to be 5'8, not 5'10, so 5'9 is perfectly fine.
